Head Women's Tennis Coach Mark Henry brought a familiar name
into the fold with the signing of Saugus High School's Nadia
Sakhakorn to a National Letter of Intent. Sakhakorn is the
sister of current UCR sophomore tennis player Yasaman Sakhakorn.
The younger Sakhakorn was
ranked #26 in the final Southern California Tennis Association
rankings for 2005. In the fall she reached the quarter finals
of the 43rd Northridge Matador Junior Tournament.
"Nadia is an outstanding
player and student, she will be great addition to our program.,"
Henry said. "She is a very solid player that will make
an immediate impact on our singles line-up, we are very happy
to have her joining us next fall."
