(January 26, 2008) - The
UC Riverside Women’s Tennis team opened it’s Spring
season with a 6-1 loss to #49 San Diego State in San Diego,
CA Saturday afternoon. Junior Erynne Oki picked up the Highlander
point after taking her #1 Singles match against SDSU’s
Julie Trunk who entered the week ranked the ranked as nation’s
61st best women’s tennis player. Oki is the first UCR
player to beat a singles player ranked that high since moving
to Division I.
