2006: Appeared in 10 games... took two shots, one on goal.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Desert Christian HS under coaches Rachel Edwards, Deborah Rondeau, and Deane Maddison... helped Knights to 67-11-4 record in her four-year career and Desert Mountain League titles in 2004 and 2005... won CIF title her freshman year, reached the semifinals as a sophomore and the quarterfinals her junior and senior seasons... earned first team all-league honors in 2003 and 2005 and was league Most Valuable Player as a junior... named First Team All-CIF as a junior, leading the DML with 25 goals and 18 assists... earned Third Team All-CIF honors her senior season... scored 66 goals with 38 assists in her high school career... four-time member of the California Scholastic Federation... Honor Roll and President’s List member... also sang in choir... volunteered by building houses for the homeless in Mexico.
Personal: Megan Elizabeth Fike is the daughter of Rob and Isabel Fike... her brother, Matthew, plays soccer for Hope International... majoring liberal studies with a minor in Spanish... cheers for the U.S. women’s National Soccer Team and the Argentinian Men’s National Soccer Team, and the Los Angeles Lakers... favorite athletes include Mia Hamm, Lionel Messi, and Landon Donovan... enjoys reading “The Vision of a Champion”... watches 24, Smallville, Family Guy and “any soccer that is on”... favorite movies are “The Wedding Planner”, “Remember the Titans”, “Shooter” and “Cinderella Man”... enjoys dancing, singing, painting, and cooking in her spare time... listens to Lifehouse, Goo Goo Dolls, and any country or hip-hop music... most memorable sports moment was scoring the winning goal off a header in the CIF championship game as a freshman... cites her family as her biggest influence because of their support and encouragement... career goal is to become a teacher or sports therapist.
