Jennifer
Bermingham |
(Sept. 25, 2007) –
UC Riverside’s junior Jennifer Bermingham led wire-to-wire
at Gonzaga’s MDA Women’s Invitational at Spokane,
Washington’s Hangman Valley Golf Club. With a three-round
total of 217, only one over par and four shots better than
any other competitor, Bermingham collected her fourth career
individual title. UCR finished fourth in the 13-team field,
with a 916.
Taking the team title was
Eastern Washington (901) followed by Wyoming (906) and The
Big West Conference’s Cal Poly (914).
Alexandra Erdman shot a
final round 75 to finish tied for 15th overall. All of the
Highlanders finished in the top-50, Allison Ek (t-21), Aslee
Yee (t-26) and Michelle Mannix (t-46).
The Highlanders next participate
in the Lady Aztec Fall Classic in Chula Vista, CA Oct. 15-16.
