(Sept. 24, 2007) –
After two rounds at Gonzaga’s MDA Women’s Invitational
in Spokane, Wash., UC Riverside’s Jennifer Bermingham
leads the field by four strokes. Bermingham is the only player
under par in the tournament as she heads into Tuesday’s
third and final round.
Out of 13 teams, the Highlanders
are currently are in fourth place, trailing only Eastern Washington,
Wyoming and Cal Poly. Allison Ek and Ashlee Yee are currently
tied for 14th while Alexandra Erdman is tied for 26th and
Michelle Mannix tied at 37th place.
As a team, UCR finds itself
only six shots off the lead. Play is scheduled to resume Tuesday
at 9:00 am.
