Alexandra Erdman shot a par-144 over two rounds and stands
in second place at the Giustina Memorial Classic Tournament
at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, OR Monday.
Erdman shot the Highlanders'
first round low of 73, then followed it up with a second round
71. Sophomore Allison Ek is in ninth at five-over 149, and
junior Jennifer Bermingham is tied for 17th at eight-over
152.
The tournament, which honors
OSU booster Nat Giustina’s, is being played in a unique
format that pairs the men’s and women’s teams
from each school in a combined competition against the other
schools. Teams play in foursomes that include one male and
one female from each school. In combined play, the Highlanders
men and women are seventh overall with 1,191 strokes.
The tournament concludes
Tuesday.
