Results
(Feb.12, 2008) –The
UC Riverside Women's golf team posted a fifth place finish
after the two round Lady Braveheart Classic at the Oak Valley
Golf Club in Beaumont, CA Tuesday afternoon.
Sophomore Michelle Mannix
led the Highlanders with a 13th place finish after two rounds
of 78 and 83 (161, +17). UCR posted rounds of 326 and 330
as Cal Poly won the tournament by 16 strokes (6289, +53).
Cal Poly's Stephanie Yocum won the tournament by one stoke
with a two round total of 151 (75, 76).
Junior Jennifer Birmingham
finished in 25th after rounds of 83 and 81 and junior Alison
Ek posted rounds of 84 and 81 to place 28th.
The Highlanders don’t
play again until March 1-2 at the Red Rocks Invitational in
Sedona, AZ.
