(February 28, 2008) - The
Big West Conference announced its pre-season Track and Field
poll earlier this week. The UC Riverside women’s and
Men’s Track and Field teams were selected to finish
fifth and seventh respectivly in the pre-season coaches polls.
The Woman’s team
received a total of 35 votes and was the only othe team to
recieve a first-place vote, while the men’s team received
17 votes.
Cal State Northridge was
placed in the top spot in both polls.
