Started 27 of 30 games appeared in... posted a
.308 batting average with four homers and 18 RBI...
scored 13 runs and led the team with a .560 slugging
percentage... had a 10-game hit streak from (2/9
- 3/2).... missed 26 games due to various injuries
including the final eight games... went 2-for-4
with a double and two RBI in the opening day victory
against Northern Colorado (2/9/07)... finished

all 49 games at shortstop... batted .298 with

West honorable mention... led the Big West in
RBI, second in hit by pitches (13), seventh in
doubles, and eighth in on base percentage (.422)...
had 11 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI games...
went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles against
San Jose State (2/11/06)... went 2-for-4 with
three RBI and one home run against South Dakota
State (3/17/06)... went 2-for-4 with four RBI
and one home run against Pacific (4/15/06).

final eight games of the season... appeared in
10 games as a DH, two games at 3b, two games at
SS and one game at 1b... had four multi-hit games...
had one multi-RBI game... had a six-game hitting
streak, tied for third on the team... was 2-for-4
with a pair of doubles and three RBI against Cal
State Northridge (5/7/05)... dominated the weekend
against the Matadors, going 6-for-9 with four
RBI and three doubles over the three games...
was 2-for-3 with an RBI against UC Davis (4/24/05)...
made one relief pitching appearance in a tournament
game against Long Beach State (2/4/05).

was born May 17, 1985 in Sacramento, CA... daughter
of Sara and Miguel Martinez, Jr.... majoring in
psychology and law and society... her goals are
to receive her BA and eventually get her PhD in
psychology... her favorite food is sushi and any
kind of dessert... favorite movies are “Field
of Dreams” and “A League of Their
Own”... her hobbies include dancing, cooking,
going to the beach, listening to Christian music
