2007: Led the team with 52 starts in as many games... posted a .165 batting average with a double, a triple, and 12 RBI... scored 15 runs and stole one base... went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a three-run triple against Loyola of Chicago (3/2/07)... finished 1-for-3 with a run scored and three RBI at USD (3/307).

2006: Appeared in 40 games, making 27 starts… hit .224 in 76 at bats and had three RBI… had 17 hits including three doubles… scored 11 runs and stole two bases… went 3-4 with a double and one run scored in a game vs. Pacific (4/15/06)… went 2-4 with two RBI and two runs scored in a win vs. USD (2/10/06)… went 2-3 with a double and two RBI in a win vs. Hampton (3/12/06).

High School: Was a four year letter winner for Kevin Simpson at Temescal Canyon HS... helped the team to three Southwestern League Championships in her high school career... earned All-Riverside County honors in 2005... named All-League and All-Valley in 2004... All-League MVP in 2005... named All-League Academics in 2003 and 2005.

Personal: Krystal Marquez was born June 24, 1987 to Lisa and Jesse Marquez... majoring in psychology... hobbies include playing ball and spending time with family and friends... most memorable sports moment was signing with UCR... is the first in her family to go to college... calls her parents her biggest inspirations... selected to and played on the Mexican National team in the summer of 2005.
