(November 13, 2007) –
The Big West Conference announced their Academic All-Conference
team for the Fall of 2007 Friday morning. 15 members from
UC Riverside’s fall sports received the honor, six more
than last year’s number of athletes that earned the
honor of nine.
Student-athletes have to
maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average after completing
one full academic year prior to the season for which the award
is being received. Also, the athlete must be at least be a
sophomore academically and participate in over 50 percent
of their team’s contests.
