(Sept. 29, 2007) - The UC
Riverside Highlanders are in 14th place after two rounds of
the Shootout at Angel Park in Las Vegas. UCR shot a two-round
total of 607 on the par-71 course.
The tournament, hosted by
the University of Hawaii, continues on Sunday with the final
round.
Sophomore Andrew Cortez
paced the Highlanders with a four-over 146 over two rounds,
putting him in a tie for 21st. Sophomore Scott Clayton is
in 62nd place at 11-over 153.
The UNLV "B" team
leads the tournament with a total score of 565, three-under
par.
