Clayton shot back-to-back rounds of 69 in the first day
of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at the Talking Stick Golf Club
in Scottsdale, AZ Monday. Clayton enters Tuesday’s final
round in a tie for 12th.
The Highlanders finished
the day in 14th after their team score for 575. Spencer
Paschall shot rounds of 67 and 75 to finish the day in
a tie for 37th and Andrew
Cortez recorded scores of 70 and 73 to enter Tuesday in
a tie for 43rd.
Grand Canyon leads all
teams with a score of 548 and Nate Pistacchio (UC Davis) leads
all individuals after his two rounds of 65 and 69.
