UC Riverside finished sixth in the Anteater Invitational at
Santa Ana Country Club in Santa Ana, CA Tuesday afternoon.
Sophomore Scott Clayton led the Highlanders with a 11th place
finish with rounds of 75,71,75 to post a three-round total
of 220 (+4).
Santa Clara won the overall
team competition with a three round total score of 857 (-7)
as Scott Travers from Santa Clara (208, -8) took the individual
title after beating Loyola Marymount's Brain Locke in a three-hold
playoff.
UCR (896, +32) also had
redshirt freshman Andrew Patipaksiri (222, +6) finish 15th,
freshman Nick Paez posted a three-round total of 225 (+9)
to finish 24th.
