UC Riverside finished seventh with a final total score of
577 (+1) while competing at the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invite
in St. George, UT Tuesday afternoon. Sophomore Andrew Cortez
posted a second round score of 69 (-3) to finish in a tie
for fourth with an overall score of 139 (-5).
Cortez finished two shots
behind winner Scott Tashie of Denver University (137, -7).
The University of Kentucky (562, -14) won the overall team
title by two strokes over Lousiana-Monroe (564, -12).
Other notable Highlander
scores were by freshman Nick Paez (34th, 146, +2) and senior
Spencer Paschall (49th, 148, +4).
