School: Won a total of 13 varsity letters in her
high school career, including four for cross country,
four for track and field, three for canoe paddling
and one each for soccer and swimming... was the
state champion in the 800 in 2006... was a team
captain as a junior and senior, won individual
championships as a sophomore and junior and helped
the team to one Maui Interscholastic League Championship
in her senior year... made four appearances at
the state Cross Country and Track and Field Championships...
in track and field, was a captain as a sophomore,
junior and senior... two-time MIL Female Runner
of the Year, three-time MIL Cross Country All-First
Team, four-time MIL Track First Team, two-time
Seabury Hall Female Athlete of the Year.
Personal: Brittany Young is the daughter of Christopher
and Lauren Young... majoring in pre-business...
