2006: Competed in five events... finished third on the team and 127th overall at the Chili Pepper Invitational (10/14/06), finishing 10K in 32:18.90... was fourth on the team and 27th overall at the Sundodger Invitational (9/16/06), finishing 8K in 24:54.00.
2005: Finished 46th in 28:06.2 at the CS Fullerton Opener (9/3/05)... finished 133rd in 26:27 at the Stanford Invitational (9/24/05)... finished 12th overall and second on the team in 25:23.2 at the UCR Invitational (10/1/05)... finished 79th in 26:02.3 at the Drews/Neubauer Invitational (10/15/05)... finished 50th in 26:56.3 at the Big West Championship (10/29/05)... finished 145th in 35:04.4 at the NCAA West Regionals (11/12/05).
2004: Finished 16th overall and second on the team in 25:43.3 at Carbon Canyon Park (9/4/04)... finished 21st overall and second on the team in 25:15.4 at the Riverside Invitational (10/2/04)... finished 78th overall and first on the team in 32:39.0 at the NCAA West Regionals.
High School: Earned All-Moore League honors as a senior... All-CIF selection and state finalist... ran the 3,200M in 9:12... ran the 5,000M in 15:04.
Personal: Ulices Pina is the son of Jose and Maria Pina... majoring in history with a minor in Spanish... favorite novel is “Animal Farm”... favorite food is his mom’s home cooking... enjoys watching the Simpsons... favorite musical group is the Doors... favorite movie is “Rocky”... most memorable sports moment was making it to state in the 3200M... lists his family as his biggest athletic influence.
