(Sept. 12, 2007) - The 2007
Division I Men's and Women's Cross Country Regional Rankings
were released Tuesday, and UC Riverside was featured prominently
on both lists.
The Highlander women were
ranked sixth in the Western Region, trailing Stanford, Arizona
State, Washington, Oregon and UC Santa Barbara. The men were
ranked 12th overall in the west region, with Big West squads
Cal Poly and UCSB ahead of them in fifth and 10th, respectively.
The regional and national
polls will come out every two weeks, with the next set slated
for September 24th-25th.
