2007: Started 49 of the 52 games in which he appeared... hit .272 with nine doubles, one home run and 31 RBI... led the team and Big West Conference in walks with 46... had on-base percentage of .444... had 11 multiple hit games... went 2-for-4 with run scored and one RBI in NCAA Regional vs. Nebraska (6/1/07)... went 3-for-4 with an RBI at Cal Poly (4/20/07)... hit grand slam in win at Cal State Northridge (5/10/07)... was 2-for-2 with a double, two walks, three RBI, and four runs scored against Nevada (2/3/07)... drove in three at San Diego State (2/24/07) and against UC Santa Barbara (4/7/07).

College of Marrin: Two-year letterwinner at College of Marin under Coach Steve Berringer… led Mariners to 2006 Bay Valley Conference title… named 2006 conference Most Valuable Player and California Junior College All-American… earned Second Team All-BVC West honors in 2005.

High School: Letterwinner at Terra Linda HS under Coach Jim McCarthy… named First Team All-Marin County Athletic League as a senior… also lettered in basketball, helping Trojans to league title and NorCal Championship game in 2004… earned All-MCAL honors in basketball as a junior and senior… member of Link Crew… two-time Gold Honor Roll student and four-time Blue Honor Roll student.

Personal: Ben Price was born on May 20, 1986, in Greenbrae, CA… parents are Bart and Barb Price… majoring in interdisciplinary studies… cheers for the San Francisco 49ers and Golden State Warriors… favorite athletes include Nick Swisher, Omar Vizquel, and Khahil Greene… favorite writer is Michael Smith… favorite novels are the “Harry Potter” series and “Moneyball”… loves to eat pasta, eggs Benedict, and bagel bites… favorite movies are “The Sandlot”, “Blazing Saddles”, and “City of God”… watches SportsCenter, Baseball Tonight, and Iron Chef on TV… listens to The Expendables, Slightly Stoopid, and Mac Dre… plays ping-pong and mini-golf in his free time… most memorable sports moment was winning the league title at College of Marin on a steal of home… lists his dad as his biggest influence for introducing him to the game… career goal is to work in physical therapy or athletic training when his playing career is over.
