2007: Started in 18 of the 21 games appeared in... hit .294 with two doubles and 10 RBI... recorded 20 hits in his 68 at-bats... scored 13 runs... went 1-for-4 wth an RBI and run scored vs San Francisco (2/17/07)... went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored vs San Diego (2/27/07)... went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored vs Santa Clara (3/17/07)... picked up three RBI while going 2-for-4 vs Santa Clara (3/18/07).

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Riverside’s Martin Luther King HS under Head Coach Rich Graves… three-time first team all-league selection… helped lead Wolves to Sunkist League Championship as a sophomore… team Rookie of the Year in 2003 and captain as a junior and senior… played in 2005-06 Connie Mack World Series.

Personal: Bryan Horst was born on March 27, 1988 in Fountain Valley, CA… parents are Vern and Carmen Horst… uncle is Hall of Famer Luis Aparicio… majoring in business… cheers for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim… favorite athlete is Derek Jeter… enjoyed reading Jose Canseco’s book “Juiced”… favorite foods are Subway and his grandmother’s chicken and rice… favorite TV show is Baseball Tonight… listens to the music of Carlos Vivas… favorite movies are “Ray”, “Friday”, and “Field of Dreams”… cites his parents as his biggest influence… most memorable sports moment was playing in the Connie Mack World Series.
