2007: Played in 37 games, starting 21... hit .292 with 16 RBI... hit five doubles and one home run... went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored at San Diego State (2/24/07)... was 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, two RBI, and two runs scored at UC Davis (3/31/07)... finished the NCAA Regional 1-for-8 appearing in all three games... went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI, and two runs scored at #29 Cal Poly (4/22/07)... drove in both runs in 2-1 victory at #11 Long Beach State (5/19/07)... went 2-for-2 off the bench with his first career home run against Cal State Northridge (5/12/07).

High School: Three-year letterwinner at Bishop Amat Memorial HS in La Puente under Head Coach Ken Kendrena… helped lead Lancers to 2006 Serra League Championship… named First Team All-Serra League as a senior… won 2005 Arcadia Invitational Tournament Most Valuable Player Award in leading team to title… played on CBCA North-South Team… Second Team All-East San Gabriel Valley… voted team’s Player of the Year… named to All-Tournament Team at Glendora Tournament.

Personal: Ryan Goetz was born on May 16, 1988, in Pasadena, CA… son of John and Sherri Goetz… has yet to declare a major… roots for the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers… favorite athlete is Chase Utley… enjoys reading the works of J.D. Salinger and Michael Crichton… favorite novels are “Catcher in the Rye”, “Eaters of the Dead”, and “It’s Not About the Bike”… favorite foods are pasta, sushi, and Coldstone Creamery Ice Cream… favorite TV shows are SportsCenter and Wild ‘N Out… favorite movies are “Anchorman”, “Talladega Nights”, “Man on Fire”, and “Wedding Crashers”… listens to Lil Wayne and The Game… hobbies include riding bikes, playing video games, bowling, and hanging out with his brother… most memorable sports moment was winning the Serra League Championship… lists his best friend, “Fudgie”, and his parents as his biggest influences.
