2007: Made seven appearances out of the bullpen... recorded a 0-0 record with 4.91 ERA in 7.1 innings... struck out seven batters... pitched one inning in NCAA Regional vs. Arizona State (6/2/07)... made two appearances as a pinch-runner: against Santa Clara (3/17/07) and at Washington (4/15/07).

High School: Two-year letterwinner at Capistrano Valley HS in Mission Viejo under Head Coach Bob Zamora… helped Cougars to South Coast League Championship as a junior and senior… hit .462 as a senior… named first team all-league and first team all-county his senior season… played in North-South County and South Coast League All-Star Games… voted “Best Offensive Player” at 2005 Southland Showcase.

Personal: Kevin Dickey was born on May 18, 1987, in Mission Viejo… son of Dave and Kathi Dickey… majoring in business… cheers for the Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers… favorite athletes are Ken Griffey, Jr., David Ortiz, and Kobe Bryant… enjoys reading sports biographies… favorite food is pizza… favorite movies are “Dumb and Dumber”, “Friday Night Lights”, “and “Zoolander”… enjoys watching SportsCenter and American Idol… listens to Green Day, Rascal Flatts, and Red Hot Chili Peppers… hobbies include playing basketball and going to the beach… most memorable sports moment was winning back-to-back South Coast League Championships… biggest influence has been his parents, who have supported him.
