This is an
excellent opportunity for you to meet the UC Riverside coaching
staff and familiarize yourself with "Highlander" baseball.
The Camps will provide you with valuable instruction for your
development as a player and an opportunity for you to display
your talents.
Each camp
will consist of offensive and defensive evaluations. Instruction
will be conducted by the UC Riverside coaching staff. Each day
will also include informative talks from various academic support
personnel. Also, participants will be divided into teams for evaluations
of their performance in game situations.

"UCR School of Basketball" Camps

Session I: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. $150
Session II: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. $150
Both Sessions: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. $250
Our camp focuses
on improving fundamentals and skill levels through mini-clinics,
drills and games that will help players gain the skills needed
for the next level. Players are divided into groups by skill level
and age and will be instructed by UCR coaches and players. Space
is limited to first 65 campers.

Sports Performance Camp
$150 per athlete (All checks payable to UC Regents)
July 30 – August 10; M, W, F / 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
A group discount of $50 per athlete will be honored for a group
of 10 or more athletes, the group must register together.
High
School Football Training Camp
Each day camp will consist of 45 minutes of running mechanics,
acceleration complexes, agility drills, and conditioning. The
other 45 minutes session of the camp will be spent on the “The
Patch” which is a military style obstacle course designed
to develop toughness, upper and lower body strength, explosiveness,
balance, coordination, and confidence.The U.C. Riverside
Strength and Conditioning Department is offering a Sports Performance
Camp by U.C. Riverside Strength and Conditioning coaches Josh
Everett and E.J Andrews. Coach Everett has an abundance of experience
from his days as a collegiate football player and track and field
runner at Ohio Northern, and as a Strength and Conditioning coach
at UCLA and UCR. Coach Andrews, a former collegiate football player
and track and field MVP at UCR, brings in years of experience
as an athlete and a coach.

Skills Camp
This camp is dedicated to the improvement of the FUNdamentals
of the game. Instruction will include individual skills
of the pass, dig, set, hit, block and serve. Individual skills
will then be incorporated into team offense and defense. Aspiring
young athletes wanting to play volleyball at a higher level will
benefit from the knowledge and experience of Division I college
coaches and players. The camp goal is to provide a positive, success-oriented
learning environment in which players learn not only the skills
of the game but life-skills that will help them find success in
other areas.

UC
Riverside Strength and Conditioning Camps
UCR Strength
and Conditioning Camps are open to all athletes (age 10+) located
within a 50 mile radius of the UCR campus. Each camp runs for
four weeks and athletes may come up to four days per week with
programs designed to help any athlete in any sport. Strength and
Conditioning Camps go year round, so applicants can sign up anytime!
Register NOW! Just be sure to contact a strength coach to set
up an appointment for enrollment.
We provide
a professional strength staff that is dedicated to developing
the entire athlete. The coaches have worked at some of the top
Collegiate Conferences in the nation (PAC-10, Big West, MAC) with
some of the best young athletes anywhere. The staff’s goal
is to maximize each individual’s athletic ability allowing
high level performance while minimizing the chance for injury.
Athletes attending these camps will build speed, power, strength,
agility, quickness, flexibility, endurance and mental toughness.
This translates to athleticism.

Strength and Conditioning Camps
UCR Strength
and Conditioning Camps provide:
a) Quick, effective and expert teaching of proper techniques for
the Olympic lifts and a huge variety of other strength training
movements, both weighted and unweighted.
b) Innovative and time-tested training methods designed to ensure
peak athletic development.
c) The development of mental toughness, a tenacious competitive
spirit and a rock solid sense of confidence.
d) Individual workout programs addressing each athlete’s
particular needs. Programs will be developed based on age, skill
level, sport, and training background.
